Picking out the "Perfect" Christmas Tree

Every year the Mach family sets out to find the"perfect" Christmas tree.

The problem is, every year it gets more and more difficult to find one the everyone agrees on. There was once a time when the kids were just excited with whatever we brought home--not anymore! Everyone has an opinion.

Mom picked out a very nice pre-lite fake tree...Dad vetoed, too expensive! So we went out to find a nice real one. We needed a nice tall thin one, we don't have a very large place to put it in the new house.

Camden found one...then Kyla found one! Ahhh which to choose, it was a tough one, Dad even considered buying them both just to keep the peace--Mom vetoed! We decided it would go to vote, not pretty! After threatening to just not have a tree this year (should have got the fake one) Dad decided that life just comes with some disappointments, and it was time our children learned to deal with it! He chose the tree, and that was that! Oh the magic of the season. :)

In the end we got the tree home and set in it place, and it really was the perfect Christmas tree, and everyone was HAPPY!

Camden Julia

Camden or Cami as we like call her (she is a lady of many nicknames--Cami, Camers, Camer-slammer, Cam-a-lama, slammer-jammer. . .) will be 5 years old in October. She is very disappointed that she misses the kindergarten cut-off (Sept. 1st) and has to wait another whole year before she can go to"big girl school", but she started preschool 3 days a week (MWF) at Little Lambs, and loves it!!! She too started gymnastics this years, it was very hard for her to decide between gymnastics and dance, but she chose to try something different. She is a fabulous little ballerina, but we're sure she'll love this too. She is really growing up and is no longer Mommy's baby girl. It's amazing how quickly time goes by.

Durham Edward

Durham our big boy is 3 years old and growing FAST! He is ALL BOY, I'd always heard people use that saying, but now I know what it means!!!! He loves climbing, throwing, banging, tackling, loud noise making, and over all sister pestering. However, he does it all with great style and super-cuteness that is impossible to resist (especially for Mom). He learned hoe to use the potty this summer, so is officially a BIG boy! He really likes being a big brother, and is doing his best to teach Marshall the "art" mischief making and trouble dodging, but he really is a sweet and cuddly boy, quick to give hugs, kisses, and the crowd favorite "I wuv oo"--who could ask for more?
