I LOVE BIRTHDAYS!!!

Today is my birthday!!! I LOVE birthdays, I just wish you could have them without it meaning that you are turning another year older! I am 31 years old today! I remember turning 25 and thinking, "Oh my gosh, am I really only 5 years from 30???!!!" Then 30 came...sad, sad day. It's all over, the youth, the fun, I was no longer "20 something". NOW, I'm not just 30, I'm "in my 30's"!!!! HOLY COW!

"They" say (who the heck is "they" anyway) that you are only as old as you feel. Well, I have 5 kids, a mortgage, I don't remember the last time I actually painted my toe nails, it is 12:25 in the afternoon and I am still in my pj's and haven't showered, I am starting to see wrinkles is my face, it takes me FOREVER to lose 5 pounds, and I think I found a grey hair!!! So you tell me, how old is 31??? Did I say that I LOVE Birthdays??? Let's change that to LOATH Birthdays!!!

Camden Julia

Camden or Cami as we like call her (she is a lady of many nicknames--Cami, Camers, Camer-slammer, Cam-a-lama, slammer-jammer. . .) will be 5 years old in October. She is very disappointed that she misses the kindergarten cut-off (Sept. 1st) and has to wait another whole year before she can go to"big girl school", but she started preschool 3 days a week (MWF) at Little Lambs, and loves it!!! She too started gymnastics this years, it was very hard for her to decide between gymnastics and dance, but she chose to try something different. She is a fabulous little ballerina, but we're sure she'll love this too. She is really growing up and is no longer Mommy's baby girl. It's amazing how quickly time goes by.

Durham Edward

Durham our big boy is 3 years old and growing FAST! He is ALL BOY, I'd always heard people use that saying, but now I know what it means!!!! He loves climbing, throwing, banging, tackling, loud noise making, and over all sister pestering. However, he does it all with great style and super-cuteness that is impossible to resist (especially for Mom). He learned hoe to use the potty this summer, so is officially a BIG boy! He really likes being a big brother, and is doing his best to teach Marshall the "art" mischief making and trouble dodging, but he really is a sweet and cuddly boy, quick to give hugs, kisses, and the crowd favorite "I wuv oo"--who could ask for more?
